American Contemporary Ballet Audition

ACB is based in Los Angeles, CA and offers a 38 week contract with 60-70 performances. The pay rate is $300-$1,000 per week plus physical therapy, and pointe shoes are provided.

Stylistic & Technical Requirements: The “contemporary” in our name denotes the fact that we perform a large number of new ballets; but those works are based on the classical tradition. Therefore, we seek dancers with exemplary classical skills. Balanchine training provides an excellent background for the work we do.

ACB is based in Los Angeles; February 18 auditions will be at School of American Ballet in NYC.
