Dissonance Dance Theatre Ballet Audition (Memphis)

Dissonance Dance Theatre is seeking to hire full-time classically – trained dancers with a desire for contemporary form for its 2024 – 2025 season.

We are seeking female dancers with exceptional pointe work, leg extension, performance, and partnering ability.

Additionally, male dancers must have athletic physiques with partnering skills.

Our artists are an integral and valued part of our community.

Dancers receive a comprehensive benefits package including 37 weeks of paid work per season, domestic touring, dance medicine, physical therapy, housing assistance (limited), pointe shoe allotments, gym membership, and a photographic headshot.

Selected international dancers receive O-1 VISA paperwork.

Company dancer’s ranks include Senior Artists, Artists, Apprentice, and Trainees. The repertoire ranges from folkloric to classical ballet. Dancers must possess a strong classical ballet and contemporary background.
In-person and online dancer auditionees will be considered.
