Eliot Smith Dance (ESD) seeks dancers with excellent contemporary and strong classical technique to join the company and for the regional tour of Eliot Smith’s ‘PITMAN’ to take place between autumn 2024 and early spring 2025.
Dancers must have a strong command in ballet and traditional contemporary dance technique. We are looking for diverse, highly skilled, and theatrical dancers who have strong stage presence, with experience of physical character work.
We welcome applications from dancers with at least three years professional training and two years of professional experience. We are keen to hear from dancers of any gender identification, different ethnicities, and dancers working / living in the North East of England.
We are able to offer three freelance contracts and one apprentice contract.
All applicants must be based in the UK, have the right to work in the UK.
Contracts and fees follow ITC standards. Travel and accommodation during rehearsal and tour will be covered by ESD.

18 November – 05 December 2024 (Northumberland, England)
Confirmed Performances:
06 and 07 December 2024 (Northumberland, England)
Rehearsals and Performances for the spring season will be confirmed and offered to successful candidates during the autumn season.
