ResetFondazione Nazionale della Danza, the most important Italian dance production centre, develops its producing and touring activity under the name Aterballetto, the leading contemporary dance company in Italy and the first permanent ballet-producing organization apart from Opera House companies. Founded in 1977, Aterballetto is composed of 16 soloist dancers capable of performing in every dance style. Many acclaimed Italian and international choreographers have worked with the company, such as Eyal Dadon, Johan Inger, Philippe Kratz, Jiří Kylián, Francesca Lattuada, Fernando Melo, Ohad Naharin, Angelin Preljocaj, Hofesh Shechter, Giuseppe Spota and Diego Tortelli.
