Grand Theatre of the City of Luxembourg Ballet Audition

As part of their 2024·2025 season, Le Escher Theater et Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg are commissioning the production:
« GROOVE CLUB » by choreographer Jean-Guillaume Weis.

For the creation of this work, we are looking for:

Dancers with ballet and contemporary technique as well as partnering & acting skills.
Two young dancers max 23 years old, one female, one male with acting experience*
One dancer with roller-skating and/or circus artist experience.
A female performer with a minimum age of 45 with experience as a circus acrobat/gymnast. (Contortionist, trapezist, hoop, corde lisse …)
A dancer with a minimum age of 45 with a solid experience in pantomime and acting.
People who consider corresponding to one or more of the above mentioned criteria are welcome

Rehearsals & performances:
Applicants need to be fully available for the following periods:
*For the two younger actor/dancers arrangements will be made and agreed upon.
Rehearsals:
From 11 November to 14 December in Wellenstein &
6 January to 23 January 2025 in Esch (exact dates to be confirmed)
Performances:
24 & 25 January 2025 at Escher Theater and on 31 January and 1 February 2025 at Théâtres de la Ville (Grand Théâtre)
More dates for international touring in 2024/25 to be confirmed.
