National Moravian-Silesian Theatre Ballet Audition

The Artistic Director Lenka Dřímalová announces audition to recruit new members of the ballet company of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre for the 2024/2025 season

We are looking for professional dancers with outstanding technique (classical and modern), and stage experience for the following positions:

– Soloist (male, female)
– Corps de ballet with soloist obligations (male, female)
– Young dancers for the position of “apprentice”

Preferred height: female dancers 163 – 168 cm, male dancers 175 – 183 cm.

We are looking for candidates who can start work from 12th August 2024.

Classical, neoclassical:
• Coppélia (choreography by Giorgio Madia)
• Nutcracker (choreography by Youri Vámos)
• Swan Lake (choreographed by Youri Vámos)
• Peer Gynt (choreographed by Jeroen Verbruggen) – scheduled premiéra May 2025

Contemporary
• Carmen (choreography by Jiří Pokorný)
• HORA (choreography by Ohad Naharin)
• Rapsodie Bohemia (Heatscape by Justin Peck – Ikarie by Jana Burkiewicz – The Point of View by Viktor Konvalinka)
• opera The Cunning Little Vixen (directed and choreographed by Itzik Galili)
