Nice Opera Ballet Audition

The City of Nice will be recruiting 4 female dancers and 5 male dancers, in compliance with current regulations. Each of the positions will have a contractual status under public law, as defined by article 3 of law no.84-53 of January 26, 1984, as amended, and decree mo.88-145 of February 15, 1988 as amended. Each position is a main job.

Selected candidates will be offered contracts for the 2025-2026 season, with a possible starting date on September 1, 2025, after Dassing the compulsory medical examination. As a condition of employment, candidates must present the same physical and Technical conditions as they had on the day of the competition. Failing this, the City of Nice expressly reserves the right to reconsider ts choice.

For each dancer position, a ranking will be established by the jury for the benefit of candidates judged suitable to occupy these positions, including in the event of withdrawal, defection or resignation from the positions in question. The ranking is valid until August 31, 2026.

The jury is sovereign and its votes and discussions may not be challenged. All tests are eliminatory. In the event of an inconclusive audition, the municipal administration reserves the right not to retain any applications or to fill vacant positions only in part.
