We offer dancers the opportunity to experience a wide variety of choreographic styles and dance an unusually broad repertoire in a respectful and supportive working atmosphere.
The Karlsruhe State Theater is one of the largest multi-disciplinary theaters in Germany. With the departments of opera, ballet, concert, drama and Young State Theater, we reach over 250,000 visitors in over 900 events per season with around 700 permanent employees from over 45 countries of origin and offer a creative and international working environment.
As a member of several European opera and theater organizations, the State Theater is internationally networked. It is a central concern for us to open up our work to all age groups, social classes and, above all, interculturally – in terms of program, audience and staff.
The diverse repertoire of the Karlsruhe State Ballet includes a broad spectrum of classical and neoclassical works as well as contemporary pieces and premieres by world-renowned choreographers.
