The Ajkun Ballet Theatre is a New York City based professional ballet company performing a repertory of classical and contemporary ballets in its Manhattan Theater and on Tour. The Theater is home to a roster of 35 artists including trainees, character actors, corps de ballet, soloists, and principal dancers. Artistic Director: Chiara Ajkun.

Ajkun Ballet Theatre is looking for Professional Dancers (age 16-35) with strong ballet technique and an interest for contemporary movement and Character Artists (maximum age 55) with stage experience. Immediate opening for Dancers with previous Soloist experience. Season 2024-2025 in New York City and on Tour.

Ajkun Ballet’s repertory includes classics spanning from the 19th century to neoclassical ballets and Artistic Director Chiara Ajkun’s original art.

Requirements:

• strong ballet technique
• strong pointe work (women)
• interest for contemporary movement
• age 16-35 years old
• partnering skills
• Character Artists: maximum age 55 years old, stage experience, interpreting skills. No height requirement, all nationalities welcome.
