Ballet BC Audition
For the 2022/23 Season, Ballet BC is looking for:
Full-Time Artists: Ballet BC is seeking experienced dancers interested in a collaborative contemporary dance environment. Artists should possess both classical and contemporary training.
Emerging Artists: Ballet BC is looking for graduates who have completed a professional training program to join the Ballet BC Emerging Artists Program. The program will take place during the company season (summer 2022 to summer 2023) and will provide Emerging Artists with a weekly salary.

- video link (This should be an unlisted youtube or vimeo link). Important: Video should be no longer than 10 minutes and include the following components:
- Ballet class (4-5 minutes): adage, pirouettes, petit allegro, grand allegro;
- Solo of artist’s choice;
- Improvisation

Additional Information:
The audition will consist of ballet class and learning of company repertoire. Artists should bring their CV and two photos (one head shot and one full-body, marked with dancer’s name). Artists will need to have prepared a 2-3 minute solo, and will need to have their music downloaded to their device.

COVID-19 info:
IMPORTANT: All auditionees will be required to provide proof of a full course of vaccination which is recognized in Canada to be able to audition.
– 2 doses of the AstraZeneca, Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or;
– 1 dose of the Johnson + Johnson vaccine
