Ballets Jazz Montréal Audition

Ballets Jazz Montréal is organizing a private audition with the company’s Artistic Director and company artists while in Paris. We look forward to meeting and connecting with professional dancers who are technical, versatile and open-minded, for future work and creations with the company in the 2025-2026 season and beyond.

Our repertoire includes works by Crystal Pite, Aszure Barton, Ausia Jones, Andonis Foniadakis, Ihsan Rustem, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Juliano Nunes, and Anne Plamondon.

The artists selected must also align themselves with the core values guiding the organization, which are: curiosity, commitment, participation, research, problem-solving, collaboration, positive energy, and creativity.

Ballets Jazz Montréal honours its dynamic history grounded in creation and accessibility while fostering a positive work environment that is respectful, inclusive, and inspiring.

Dancers sought:

• Male
• Female

Requirements:

• a solid background in ballet and contemporary dance techniques
• the ability to quickly learn choreography and demonstrate high-level partnering skills

Required documents:

• An up-to-date resumé (1 page)​
• 1 headshot
• Video link (without a password) of a 3-minute maximum video clearly showing yourself dancing
