Bavarian Junior Ballet Munich Audition
Artistic Director Ivan Liška is searching for dancers between the ages of 17-20 with excellent classical and contemporary technique for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
We ask for your understanding that due to the global corona pandemic, we are not planning to hold a live audition In Munich until further notice. Nevertheless, we look forward to receiving your applications. Participation in a private audition will only possible by invitation.
Requirements:
- Age 17 – 20
- Ladies at least 1.68m / 5’6”
- Men at least 1.80m / 5’11”
Required documents:
Before submitting your application please take the time to prepare the following information:
- Collect your Photos (1 x Headshot, 1 x Full Body Dancing Photo) and label them in the following formats:
- Surname_Firstname_Headshot.jpg,
- Surname_Firstname_Dancing.jpg
- Curate your CV (1 Page only to be submitted in PDF form) and label the file in the following format:
- Surname_Firstname_CV.pdf
- Prepare two videos and upload them to Youtube:
- Video 1 – Classwork: Barre / Centre (No longer than 20 minutes and 1 Link Only!),
- Video 2 – Performance / Variation Excerpts (No longer than 10 minutes and 1 Link Only!)
- Prepare written responses to the following questions:
- Why do you dance?
- Why would you like to join the Bavarian Junior Ballet Munich?
- What is your understanding of the Bavarian Junior Ballet Munich?
Each year we receive hundreds of applications. Therefore, we ask you to submit your applications carefully in relation to the above requirements. Please remember, we are not only searching for talented young dancers but professional young adults that will fulfill their requirements as members of our company. Your written answers can sometimes make the difference as to whether we choose to invite an applicant to audition or not.
