Cape Ballet Africa Audition

Cape Ballet Africa, a brand new ballet company in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa under the artistic direction of Debbie Turner, is interviewing for skilled, passionate artists to join our ballet company as we evolve and profile the next wave of classical ballet dancers in South Africa and the African diaspora.

The repertory will be diverse and include both traditional works, neo-classical works, works from 21st century classical choreographers, and newly commissioned work.

While priority will be given to South African passport holders, applications from dancers of other nationalities are welcome.

Competitive remuneration is offered.

Dancers sought:

  • Male
  • Female

Requirements:

  • Strong classical technique is required including strong pointe work / partnering skills

Required documents:

  • CV
  • headshot
  • appropriate dance videos showcasing your talent
