Dissonance Dance Theatre Ballet Audition
Dissonance Dance Theatre (DDT) is one of the 11 small-but-mighty dance companies outside of LA and NYC, as featured in Dance Spirit Magazine. They are currently looking for male dancers (19 years old and up) with strong classical ballet technique and contemporary ballet experience to join their company. DDT offers paid positions for company members and non-paid positions for apprentices. The FY2024 season starts from July 2023 to March 2024 with performances in DC, MD, and NYC. In-person and video auditions are available.
Requirements:
- 19 years old and up.
- need to be 5’6 to 6’+ in height.
- Dancers must possess a strong classical ballet and contemporary background. Classical and contemporary partnering skills are a plus.

Limited lodging assistance is available for dancers. The repertoire ranges from folkloric to classical ballet. DDT dance artists have transitioned to national and international theatrical tours, notable TV and film work, and have worked with various acclaimed companies.
