Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet Audition
Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet is a professional dance company comprised of artist-theologians whose goal is to create spaces where art and faith can flourish. Ekklesia’s diverse repertory utilizes a full spectrum of emotional and physical vocabulary while addressing issues such as poverty, inequality, and human suffering.
We are looking to fill one male and one female position for our 2022-2023 season.
Ekklesia rehearses weekly Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00 – 2:30pm and Saturday 9:30 – 5:30pm / 34 week contract.
PAID performances starting rate $100 / Rehearsal Stipend / Shoe Stipend
Requirements:
- strong Classical & Contemporary Ballet training
- solid pointe work
- partnering experience
- have the versatility to tackle a variety of movement styles
- over 18 years old
- fully vaccinated
- have a valid passport, and be able to legally work in the United States
Required documents:
- Your head shot/body shot
- Resume with cover letter telling us why you want to be a part of Ekklesia
- Include video of you dancing, links to your reel/YouTube/Vimeo
