India’s National Youth Ballet Audition

Open call for the dancers all over India to join our live auditions in Mumbai and Delhi to be a part of India’s National Youth Ballet.

An opportunity to take yourself one step closer to your dreams and goals.

The aim of INYB is to take you to the professional world and give you a professional dance career.

We ask you to come in proper dancer attires.

(If female applicants are trained in pointe shoes, please bring them)

Process of Audition

1st Round
Ballet Class

2nd Round
Variation from applicant, if possible, drawn from the standard repertoire.

ATTENTION!

(Bring your own music on USB key or phone.)

3rd Round
Interview with INYB

Requirements:

• excellent classical technique

Required documents:

• CV
• Headshot
• Dance photos reveal the dancers’ full body and lines
• Dance videoA video without introduction or fancy editing, applicant must record the audition video with leotard and tights for female and male. Video duration shouldn’t be more than 15-minutes and must comprise of:1. A short classical variation drawn from standard repertoire, danced on pointe shoes by female applicant (if you can, it will be plus point)
  2. A short neoclassical variation from repertoire or creation by applicant.
  3. A short barre work incorporates both sides (female on pointe)
  4. Centre work that include: Adagio, pirouette, petit and grand allegro, on pointe by female applicant (if you can it will be plus point) And male dancers double tour en l’air both side
