Madison Ballet Audition

Madison Ballet’s Trainee Program offers a rigorous program focused on preparing each student for a career in professional dance. Trainees participate in company rehearsals, performances, and School of Madison Ballet classes during the Academic Year term from September 2023 to June 2024.

Requirements:

  • classical technique
  • pointe experience
  • stage performance experience preferred

Required documents:

  • resume (CV)
  • headshot
  • dance photo
  • video link demonstrating classwork (5 minutes max; including tendu/degage from 5th, fondu and grand battements at barre, center work including adagio, turns, petite and grand allegro jumps, fouettés [women] and double tours [men]) and one classical variation that best represents your abilities
