Momix Ballet Audition
MOMIX is seeking exceptionally creative and athletic dancers with strong ballet, modern, and partnering technique to join the company for its 2023-2024 Season, which will have extensive domestic and international touring. All rehearsals will take place at MOMIX headquarters in Washington, CT.
MOMIX is committed to hiring artists with exceptional talent who are ready to grow and develop while touring the world and undertaking physically challenging repertory. We are seeking performers who are artistically talented, diverse, and hardworking. Our artists need to be physically strong and athletic, comfortable working with props, and open to creativity and inventiveness while also demonstrating musicality and exceptional ability to move. We invite you to either attend a live performance, or see our work online to have an understanding of the type of work we do in our shows.
Requirements:
- strong ballet, modern, and partnering technique
- must be US resident, Green Card holder, or have a current 0‐1 Visa
- must be 18 years or older
- must have valid COVID-19 vaccination.

Additional Information:
Applicants who do not submit all materials will not be considered.
Audition submissions for the spring audition are due by March 15th. Following this deadline, they will be reviewed on a rolling basis, subject to availability of positions.
Those selected for consideration will be notified via email, and invited to attend an in-person audition in Washington CT on March 31, 2023. The day will involve learning various repertory segments, improvisation, and interviewing with artistic leadership. Callbacks will be held the following week on April 7th.
