Northern Ballet Audition
Northern Ballet are looking for dancers with strong classical ballet technique and partnering skills to join the Company from summer 2022.
Northern Ballet tours the UK and overseas extensively. Our repertoire is a varied and imaginative mix of neo-classical and classical narrative ballets. The Company has been nominated for Outstanding Company at the National Dance Awards 7 years in a row. In May 2022 Federico Bonelli will join the Company as Artistic Director.
You should be open-minded, creative and imaginative with strong classical technique and pointe work, exceptional partnering skills and strength.
With a diverse Company of dancers, Northern Ballet actively encourages applications from dancers of all ethnicities.
Requirements:
- strong classical ballet technique and partnering skills
Required documents:
- A current CV
- Video material of the following classwork done on both sides (ladies on pointe):
- adage
- pirouettes
- battu combination
- grand allegro
- tours – men
- a contemporary segment
For those with 3 or more years professional experience, you have the option to instead include videos of performance or variation material that demonstrate equivalent skills.
Videos must be hosted on YouTube.
