Northern Ballet Audition

Northern Ballet tours the UK and overseas extensively. Our repertoire is a varied and imaginative mix of neo-classical and classical narrative ballets. The Company were nominated for Outstanding Company at the National Dance Awards seven years in a row.

You should be open-minded, creative and imaginative with strong classical technique and pointe work, exceptional partnering skills and strength. With a diverse Company of dancers, Northern Ballet actively encourages applications from dancers of all ethnicities.

Requirements:

Required documents:

  • CV
  • current video of the required listed long combinations done on both sides (adage, pirouette combination, battu, grand allegro, tours for men).
  • This must be in leotards/tights and female dancers must wear pointe shoes.
  • For those with 3 or more years professional experience, option to include current videos of studio material plus performances that demonstrate equivalent skills.
  • The video must be hosted on Youtube.
