Opera Ballet Vlaanderen Audition

Opera Ballet Vlaanderen is looking for dancers for Season 23/24.

We are looking for exceptional dance artists with an instinct for collaboration and theatrical expression.

Opera Ballet Vlaanderen explores important existing works and creates original productions from a wide range of choreographers in recent years, including Pina Bausch, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Sharon Eyal, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Akram Khan, Jan Martens, Jermaine Spivey, and Alain Platel.

Requirements:

• at least 3 years of professional dance experience or equivalent
• strong base in ballet, contemporary, and improvisational techniques

Required documents:

• CV with headshot
• An artistic statement
• Link to a video submission / performance reel

Application Deadline:

January 3rd, 2023

Audition Date:

A live audition will take place on the 4th and 5th of February, 2023 in Antwerp for selected applicants.
