Ballet Audition
Opera Ballet Vlaanderen (Artistic Director Jan Vandenhouwe, Artistic Manager Ballet Stephan Laks) are looking for dancers for Season 22/23. A live audition will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of January, 2022 in Antwerp for selected applicants. We are looking for exceptional dance artists with an instinct for collaboration and theatrical expression. Dancers should have at least 3 years of professional dance experience, a strong base in ballet, contemporary, and improvisational techniques. Choreographers in Opera Ballet Vlaanderen’s 21/22 season include Pina Bausch, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Sharon Eyal, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Akram Khan, Andonis Foniadakis, and Alain Platel.
Requirements:
- at least 3 years of professional dance experience
- strong base in ballet, contemporary, and improvisational techniques
