Paris Opera Ballet Audition
Le Ballet de l’Opéra de Paris announces audition for the male and female dancers for the Corps de Ballet positions. Permanent and temporary positions available.
The audition will take place on Monday, July 04, 2022 for women and Tuesday, July 05, 2022 for men at the Palais Garnier. The audition is open to candidates over the age of 16 on the date of the competition. A pre-selection will be made based on the application.
The Paris Opera is committed to diversity and professional equality.

- two full-lenght pictures: 1 with piqué arabesque on points + 1 with retiré genou (women: on point shoes, with tunic and tights; men: 1/2 points, with tee shirt and tights)
- a proof of identity
- portrait photo

The Paris Opera Ballet never organizes private auditions.
Recruitment is done only through our annual competition on the dates indicated.
First eliminatory part: dance class
Second round: compulsory classical variation, selected form Paris Opera repertoire.
The compulsory program will be published one month before the audition.
