State Opera Plovdiv Ballet Audition
The Ballet company of Opera Plovdiv, is searching for male ballet dancers (corps de ballet, soloists) with an option of a contract for the calendar year 2025.
State Ballet Plovdiv is an international company with a repertoire of neoclassical and contemporary dance performances, operas, musicals, children’s performances and tours with classical titles.
Auditions will be held in person in Plovdiv on mutually agreed dates with each candidate. Auditions will consist of a ballet class, classical variation and contemporary solo. Candidates will be welcomed at 9.30am at #15 “Gladston” str., House of Culture Boris Hristov, Plovdiv.
Dancers sought:
- Male
Requirements:
- very good classical and contemporary technique
- Fluency in English is an advantage. Basic English is a must.
- height at least 175 cm

- YouTube video links of classical and contemporary variations, no ballet class
