The Finnish National Ballet Audition (Helsinki)

The Finnish National Ballet is holding an audition for classically trained dancers on Saturday, 17 February 2024, at 3 p.m.

Applicants are expected to have excellent classical ballet technique and proficiency in contemporary dance. Those selected to audition are required to perform a variation in accordance with the instructions provided (no modifications allowed, but applicants can choose to perform the variation to the right or to the left).

Requirements:

  • Excellent classical ballet technique
  • Proficiency in contemporary dance

Required documents:

  • CV
  • Headshot
  • Body photo
  • Video of your own dance (video must include: pirouette combination (en dedans/en dehors), adagio, assemble and grand allegro)
