Where Style Meets Authenticity Take your dancing to the next level with globally experienced instructor Kim Amundsen! This General/Intermediate class (15+) is perfect if you’re ready to challenge your technique and bring more artistry to your movement
Our class weaves together diverse styles and influences with a personal, authentic movement approach to create a challenging yet holistic experience. In an exploratory atmosphere, we’ll develop greater awareness of muscle memory while delving into the powerful connection between physicality and mind.
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE
• Unique blend of Vaganova precision, Balanchine speed, and varied movement influences
• Longer, connected exercises structured around changing themes – focusing on organic, healthy full-body movement with focused yet free-flowing energy
• Dynamic coordination that harmonizes legs and upper body through contractions, releases, and twists
• Enhanced awareness of rhythm, breath, and how movement flows through your entire system
• LIVE MUSIC at every session, curated by Sven Blazyca @sblazyca
CLASS STRUCTURE
Rooted in Vaganova methodology, we add isolations and weight shifts to release tension. Moving beyond traditional frontal teaching, we foster a collaborative space where we learn and explore together, identifying automatic movement patterns and discovering new ways of moving.
