Who can apply:
Age:
This audition remains reserved for dancers aged between 17 and 22 (born between 12th January 2004 and 13th August 2009). Dancers of 23 years of age and older (born on or before 11th January 2004) can apply for a private audition for NDT 1.
Training & education:
Applicants must have finished, or be in the graduation year of a professional dance training programme.
Dutch graduates:
Dancers with Dutch nationality who will be in their graduating year of a professional dance training program in the 2027 – 2028 season can apply to audition for a full season internship contract. They can follow the same online audition application procedure.
Timing:
Dancers who are interested in joining NDT 2 for the 2027-2028 season will start in August 2027.

Applications open – Application for pre-selection opens at 10:00 (CEST)
Sunday 18 October 2026
Applications close – Application for pre-selection closes at 00:00 (CEST)
Friday 4 December 2026
Deadline results – You will receive an email by this date informing you whether you have been invited to audition.
Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 January 2027
Audition weekend – After positive result of pre-selection: there will be an invitation-only audition at NDT in The Hague, the Netherlands.
