Paris Opera Junior Ballet Audition

The audition is opened to dancers aged above 16 years old.
A preselection will be processed.

Auditions for the selected candidates will be held on Monday June 30th 2025 for men identifying dancers and on Wednesday July 2nd 2025 for women identifying dancers at the Palais Garnier.

For the Junior Ballet, the Paris Opera will offer 24-month professional training contracts to dancers aged 17 (as of January 1, 2025) to 23 (as of September 1, 2025), to join the Junior Ballet.

All candidates registered for the external Ballet competition who meet these eligibility criteria may be offered one of these contracts following the audition days on June 30 and July 2, 2025.

Dancers Sought:

Requirements:

• Exellent ballet and contemporary skills

• aged 17 (as of January 1, 2025) to 23 (as of September 1, 2025)

Required Documents:

• CV

• Headshot

• A full-length ballet photograph : a "piqué arabesque"

• A full-length ballet photograph : a "développé à la seconde"

• Link to a video recording of a variation performed by the candidate (maximum 3 minutes)

• Passport copy

Additional Information:

Application deadline: Sunday June 1st, at 11.59pm. The Paris Opera Ballet never organizes private auditions. The only way of recruitment is this yearly contest at the indicated dates.
