Ballet for All is a fun, challenging lesson which will enable students to develop a stronger technique and improve their confidence in classical dance.
The hour-and-a-half ballet class will focus on ballet foundations, posture, strength and stamina through barre and centre practice.
Lessons are aimed at students with basic prior knowledge of classical ballet although not a necessity.
During the lesson, students will work on port de bras, adage, pirouettes, allegro and enchainment combinations with guidance towards extending each individual’s knowledge of classical dance.
More experienced students may want to join this class on pointe or revisit the basic foundations of ballet technique.
Ballet improvers will be accompanied by professional live music on piano to encourage a connection between musical appreciation through classwork and develop artistry. Live Pianist- Matt Gregory.
Age 12 years and up.
