EKB Performing Arts was founded by Emily Bucknall in 2024 and operates across South East London, with branches in Gravesend and Swanscombe. The organization opened in May 2024 with four students and one nursery class, and has grown to over 120 students across four venues and five nurseries. Classes are held at primary schools and nursery settings throughout the region, including locations in Sidcup, Bromley, Bexley, Eltham, Dartford, Ebbsfleet, Tonbridge, Strood and Rochester.
The school offers dance, acrobatics and musical theatre classes for children from 12 months to 11+ years, as well as adults. Programs include ballet following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, street dance with IDTA exam options, acrobatic gymnastics, tap, jazz, hip-hop, drama and contemporary. Classes are delivered through breakfast, lunchtime and after-school sessions at primary schools, Saturday classes, in-nursery sessions for toddlers aged 1-4 years, and holiday workshops during Easter, summer and Christmas breaks. Students have opportunities to take exams and participate in competitions.
Emily Bucknall serves as Principal and has been a professional performer and teacher for eight years, training at Bird College and performing across the UK and Europe.

Children have the opportunity to take RAD Ballet exams and class awards, participate in IDTA Street Dance exams, and compete in competitions. Students can work towards performing in competitions through street dance classes with industry professionals who have experience dancing for artists and on music videos.
Ballet classes follow the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus with exams and class awards available to complete. Street dance students can take part in IDTA Street Dance exams. All teachers are professionally trained with up-to-date DBS checks, safeguarding and first aid qualifications.
Children have the opportunity to take exams and compete in competitions. Students work towards performing in competitions through street dance classes.
