The school name combines “Protégé,” meaning to protect or guide, with the founder’s name, Gemma. Principal Gemma Wenman-Ballan holds a BA (Hons) in Professional Dance Teaching and is a Fellow member of the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA).
