The academy is in a strategic partnership with Richmond Piano School.
The school teaches ballet, tap, modern, contemporary, street dance, hip hop, lyrical and musical theatre. Ballet follows the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and is the core compulsory subject for most students, except those attending street dance classes. Pupils prepare for RAD exams from Pre-Primary through Grade 8. Vocational ballet classes are offered by invitation. Limbering classes are available from age 6 to develop flexibility and strength. The academy also offers Tiny Tots Ballet starting at 18 months and acro classes from September 2021.
Students can participate in exams, shows and workshops. Selected pupils compete in regional festivals, with the school participating in at least four festivals annually. The academy reports a 100% pass rate in RAD, ISTD and IDTA exams. Senior students may become teaching assistants in younger classes.
