Leipzig Ballet Junior Programme Audition

The Leipzig Ballet, under the artistic direction of Rémy Fichet, is seeking dancers for its Junior Programme (m/f/d) for the 2026/27 season.
A high level in both classical (with point work) and contemporary technique is required. The audition will take place on Sunday, February 15th 2026 at 11 a.m. (Check-in from 09:30 a.m.).

Eligibility for the Junior Programme is limited to dancers who are currently in their final year of dance studies or have recently graduated and who have not previously held a contract with a professional ballet company, including any junior or trainee programmes.

Dancers Sought:

Requirements:

• A high level in both classical (with point work) and contemporary technique

Required Documents:

• CV

• Headshot

• 2-3 dance photos in close-fitting dance wear

• a video-link (maximum file size 20 MB) with no introduction or creative editing in close-fitting dance wear: * 3–5 minutes barre * 3–5 minutes center * 1-2 minutes short classical variation drawn from the standard repertoire, danced in pointe shoes (f, d) or soft shoes (m, d) * 1-2 minutes contemporary variation (that could consist of something drawn from repertoire, phrases from classwork or an applicant-created work) that illustrates the applicant’s command of a range of movement different from that demonstrated in the classical variation
